The Isle of Wight is full
of fascinating places to visit, from castles, stately homes and
manor houses to ancient forts, Roman villas, windmills and
watermills. Most famous is Osbourne House, home to Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their nine children. Wander around the landscaped gardens and take a peek into royal life in their living quarters. Carisbrooke Castle, best known as the place where King Charles I was imprisoned, is more than 800 years old and still wonderfully preserved.
