National Trust on the Isle of Wight

We are very lucky here on the Isle of Wight to have so many beautiful National Trust sites, from ancient woodlands and nature reserves to open downlands and dramatic coast lines with sheer chalk cliffs, not to mention a The Needles Battery, the 300 year old Bembridge Windmill,  a Victorian fort under restoration, and an historic 17th century town hall with an interesting political past.

Have a look at The Isle of Wight section on the National Trust website. It’s a brilliant resource, full of information on what to do, how to get there and it’s very easy to use www.nationaltrust.org.uk
