We love this walk, stunning coastline views, beautiful wide open downs, the reward of Tennyson’s monument at the top and if you’re feeling energetic you can continue all the way to The Needles. One not be missed 🙂 From the car park at Freshwater Bay, walk right along the road and turn left past the loos along the footpath until you reach the gate that takes you onto Tennyson Down, from there just keep walking on up! What a beautiful sunny, windy, chilly morning to wrap up and stroll up Mottistone Down with Charlie dog. We started at Mottistone Down car park, PO30 4JH where you can park for free. Wander through the gate and up the hill as far as you want to and back down again enjoying the wonderful coastal views, or go the whole hog and walk the 5 miles to Freshwater beach, have a little sunbathe and head back again to make a day of it. It’s is quite Continue reading →

Beautiful end to a beautiful day watching the sunset at Gurnard beach, Isle Wight! He raised over £1000 for Diabetes UK, a cause close to our hearts as Type 1 runs in our family. What a fantastic day, we couldn’t be more proud, all that training around our hilly island paid off, well done! 🙂
