The Caledon is just a five minute stroll from Cowes town. We provide fast broadband throughout the house and delicious breakfast made with fresh local produce. What more do you need? Check out a few pics
Built in 1851, our beautiful Victorian guest house has been lovingly refurbished in our modern relaxed style, while still retaining many of its original features; wooden floorboards, high ceilings and fireplaces.
We have 8 beautifully furnished guest bedrooms in a variety of room types to suit everyone. See photos on our Rooms page.
The B&B is in a great location, situated on the north of the Isle of Wight in Cowes, just a five minute walk up the hill from the bustling high street with its pretty cafes, individual shops, great restaurants, lively pubs, ferry links to Southampton and of course the yacht haven, sailing clubs and marinas for which Cowes is so well known. Everything else is less than 30 min drive away - from Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle to the Needles, Godshill, Robin Hill Country Park, Amazon World, Quarr Abbey, Culver Down, Newtown Creek or The Garlic Farm, the list goes on and on.
We are always complimented on our wonderful breakfasts, all freshly cooked to order using the tastiest local ingredients our Island has to offer! Take a look at our breakfast time pages to read about the Isle of Wight producers we use.
There is free hi speed WiFi (up to 120Mb) throughout the Bed and Breakfast, so bring your tablets and computers to stay connected while you are away.
The Caledon is a great base for walkers and cyclists exploring the Island as we are right on the Coastal Path, with the Floating Bridge at the end of the road, and the Number 1 bus stop to Newport right outside.
Our brand new secure cycle store has proved a massive hit, just hop onto the car ferry with your bike and enjoy the most amazing place to cycle in the country.
