The Kitchen IOW is the merging of two established Island food loving business women to bring you a host of catering know-how along with bespoke cooking workshops in our Kitchen in Cowes.
Having baked from a very young age with her Grandparents Immy knew she wanted to go into the profession. Taking baked goods into school her mind was set when a teacher requested that Immy make her Wedding Cake for her at just 14 years of age. Fast forward 6 years and Immy set up Richmonds Bakery's in Cowes. Found just a stones throw from Cowes Parade, Immy produces a large range of baked good to take home or made to order.
Helen is the owner/producer of The Borneo Pantry which she set up whilst living in Brunei, Borneo. With Catering School education Helen continued her cooking passion when she and her family returned to the UK and made the IOW their home. Producing an extensive range of Chutneys and Pickles, 2020 saw the introduction of Cowes Grazing by The Borneo Pantry, producing gourmet Grazing Boxes delivered straight to your door.
By merging the 2 skill sets The Kitchen IOW provides the people of the IOW with the sweet and savoury of these 2 fantastic businesses, along with evening workshops showing you the skills of what we do so you can recreate dishes at home, and take home some goodies as well.
