Bookings
Bookings must be reserved by valid credit/debit card and our policy will be published on your booking summary.
Non-refundable bookings – payment will be taken on the day of booking.
There are no refunds given in the case of early departure.
Non-refundable bookings are not refundable and not amendable in length of stay or date of arrival.
Check Out
Check Out time is 10:30am; a late checkout at 1pm is available by arrangement for just £10 – book it online or just ask when you are here.
No Smoking
The Caledon is a smoke free house – Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your booking plus an additional £100 for specialist cleaning to your room. Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room/s.
Damage
Damage to The Caledon, whether reported or not will be charged using the card details given to secure the booking. Unfortunately this includes replacement mattress costs for bed wetting. Please ask for waterproof mattress protector if you are in any doubt.
Parking
Guest vehicles are parked on the premises at the owner’s risk. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft. Check out our parking guide
Children
Children over 12 years old are more than welcome to stay with us. Just book them as adults.
Pets
Although we appreciate our animal friends, pets are not allowed at The Caledon. Sorry! Guide dogs only.
Data Privacy
When you book on our website, we may collect the personal information you input when you are booking. This information may consist of: name, address, phone number, address, email address, credit card details and details of the room that you have booked. We use this information in a number of ways:
to ensure the smooth booking and arrival process, to ensure you get the room you want on the days you want.
to occasionally contact you, should we have any offers or information related to rooms you have previously booked with us
Our customer’s privacy is of the utmost importance to us, and we will never release your details to third party organisations for the purpose of marketing or communications.
Your contact details may be shared with NHS Test and Trace if required.
Once checked in we will occasionally contact you via email or mail about The Caledon rooms and services that we believe would be of interest and benefit to you, based on your previous activity on our website. The Caledon operates a positive OPT IN option for you to receive any marketing information from us. If you would prefer not to receive this information in the future, you can OPT OUT at any time by visiting your account pages. The Caledon strictly comply with the requirements laid down by the Data Protection Act 1998, and the Distance Selling Directives and are therefore obliged to ensure that your personal data is kept secure and up to date, and to respect your wishes. You may contact us at any time to request a copy of all data and information we hold on you as a customer. You may also contact us to amend or update your details at any time by calling us on 01983293599. You can amend your personal account details by visiting your account pages.

The Caledon uses the latest Secure Server Technology to ensure that all data submitted through our website is protected to the highest standards. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used to ensure that all credit card and transactional information is secure. You can tell when the web page your using is secure as the letters ‘https’ will replace ‘http’ in the browser address window. You will also notice a yellow padlock appear, either next to your browser address window or at the bottom of your browser window.
